Citroën UK has announced updates to C4, ë-C4 and New C5 X models.  Enhancements for selected C4 and ë-C4 variants include the latest My Citroën Drive Plus infotainment system (as seen in New C5 X and New ë-C4 X), a new bi-tone roof option, and a more powerful wireless smartphone charger.  New C5 X Shine Plus models benefit from updated driver assistance systems.

Updated C4 and ë-C4

C4 Sense Plus, C-Series Edition and Shine Plus models, and ë-C4 C-Series Edition and Shine Plus models now benefit from the latest My Citroën Drive Plus infotainment system.  The system debuted in New C5 X, and also features in New ë-C4 X.  Customers also have the option of choosing a bi-tone contrasting roof colour for C4 Sense Plus, C-Series Edition and Shine Plus models. On ë-C4, the bi-tone roof will be available on C-Series Edition and Shine Plus variants.

My Citroën Drive Plus offers an improved user experience on the 10-inch HD touchscreen, including a more responsive, intuitive, and ergonomic interface with customisable widgets as standard.  The system also supports HD-quality images from the reversing camera and simultaneous connection for two Bluetooth® devices.  Models fitted with My Citroën Drive Plus also feature Citroën Connect Box, which brings a new ‘Shark Fin’ aerial to the roof in place of the traditional flexible aerial.  Optional wireless smartphone charging is updated to 15W for faster charging of mobile devices.

C4 is available with a variety of efficient petrol and diesel engines.  Prices for C4 variants begin at £22,060 MRRP OTR.  Citroën ë-C4 benefits from a 100kW motor with a 50kWh battery, meaning up to 219 miles of range (WLTP).  A re-charge to 80% from a rapid 100kW public charger is possible in under 30 minutes.  Citroën ë-C4 versions are priced from £31,995 MRRP OTR.

Updated NEW C5 X

Citroën flagship, New C5 X, has won acclaim from customers and industry professionals alike since its launch last year.  Now, New C5 X Shine Plus models benefit from upgraded Highway Integrated Assist Plus (HIA+), which includes Semi-Automatic Lane Change (SALC) and Anticipated Intelligent Speed Assist (AISA).

Designed primarily for dual carriageways and motorway driving, Highway Assist Plus automatically controls the vehicle’s steering, speed and braking once a set speed has been selected. Semi-Automatic Lane Change uses two sensors at the front of the vehicle to ensure smooth and seamless progress when changing lanes.

Anticipated Intelligent Speed Assist uses GPS to provide early recognition of speed signs.  When using Highway Integrated Assist Plus and approaching a new legal speed lower than the current speed of the vehicle, the system will propose an adjusted speed to the driver.

New C5 X is available with efficient petrol and Plug-in Hybrid powertrains.  Plug-in Hybrid variants are capable of up to 39 miles of electric-only driving (EAER WLTP Combined).  The multi-award winning New Citroën C5 X is available from just £28,670 MRRP OTR.
