Vehicle Service Technician

At Duff Morgan we are committed in ‘exceeding expectations’ and we are looking to recruit a Vehicle Service Technician with the same ethos for our Norwich dealership.

You will join our team who are responsible for the maintenance and repair of Citroen and Peugeot vehicles, always ensuring that you deliver an outstanding customer experience. This role will include the servicing and maintenance of vehicles.

You must be able to complete work to a high standard, adhere to manufacturer procedures and processes and work with a high attention to detail. The right individual must be confident and professional in their approach while being someone who can be efficient and always first-time fix.

Along with manufacturer and on-site training that will be given, this is a great potential for either a current Service Technician (maybe working at a fast fit type operation) to enhance your abilities whilst carrying out jobs you know best, along with more experienced technicians.

Duties include

Routine maintenance and repair
Repairing and replacing parts
Servicing of vehicles to very high standards
Supporting other technicians in the workshop
Ensuring the workshop is always kept clean and tidy
Ensuring that all paperwork is completed for each job in a timely manner
Communicating with the workshop controller for vehicle hand overs
Conducting test drives of vehicles

Skills

Excellent communication skills and a team player
Able to work under pressure
Good time management skills
Valid driving license
Must be qualified to NVQ level 3 in Vehicle maintenance & repair, and have experience within servicing vehicles in a workshop for a minimum of 2 years
Entitled to work in the UK

Working hours

Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 5.00pm with 30-minute lunch break

Saturday: 1 in 3 as per rota (8.30am – 12.30pm).
